Family Chat (Premium) is a shared thread where your family can leave quick notes, coordinate, and stay in the loop—all in one place.
What you can do
- Post quick notes — One thread per family. Send short messages (up to 500 characters) that everyone can see.
- @mention family members — Type
@and pick a name to tag someone. They get a push notification and their name appears highlighted in the message. - React with emojis — Long-press any message to add an emoji reaction (e.g. 👍 ❤️). Tap a reaction to toggle yours. See who reacted and counts.
- Edit or delete your own messages — Long-press your message to edit or delete it.
- Push notifications — When someone posts or @mentions you, get notified on your devices (if you have notifications enabled).
Where to find it
Open the dashboard and tap Family Chat (or Upgrade for Family Chat if you’re on the free plan). Use the profile picker at the top to switch whose “voice” you’re posting as. Press Enter to send; Shift+Enter for a new line.
