Link tasks to show how they relate—like "this chore blocks that one" or "do this before that." No strict rules; it's just so everyone can see the connections.
How to add a link
- Open a task (tap to edit).
- Scroll to Linked tasks.
- Tap Add link, pick another task, then choose a link type:
- Relates to – tasks are related in some way
- Blocks – this task blocks the other (e.g. "Mow lawn" blocks "Water garden")
- Depends on – this task depends on the other (e.g. "Paint room" depends on "Buy paint")
You can add multiple links per task and remove any link with the × on its chip.
Why use links?
- See what blocks what without opening every task
- Keep order clear (e.g. "Homework" depends on "Finish reading")
- No enforcement—links are for visibility and planning, not locks
